has been shortlisted for
BBL Player of the Month
for November. You can
vote for Mike by calling

November has seen some
great BBL action,
Brighton Bears and
Scottish Phoenix Honda
Record Rocks have made
the BBL Cup Final, the
BBL Trophy has got
underway and the
Championship is hotting
up with the approach to
Christmas. So who do you
think has been the
outstanding player in
the last month? As
always, we are asking
the fans to vote for BBL
Player of the Month for
November.
This
season the competition
works as follows: We
nominate 5 players each
month and then it is up
to you to vote the
winner, the only way to
register your vote for
the 2004/05 season is by
phone.
The
best part is that every
month of the season,
everyone who registers a
vote is automatically
entered into a prize
draw where three
fantastic prizes are
dished out. This month
prize winners are given
the choice of a BBL
Match Ball signed by the
winning player or a
family set of BBL Cup
Final tickets or a
family set of BBL Trophy
Final tickets.

Jerry Williams and Shawn
Myers are nominated for
the second month in a
row. Williams has been a
driving force for the
Towers in November as
they have maintained
their position at the
top of the Championship
table, he is ranked
second in the league's
leading scorers with
24.64ppg. The highlight
of the month for
Williams was a 37 points
haul against Birmingham
Bullets.
Shawn
Myers has scored in
double figures in every
game in November, over
20 points in most of
them. He still ranks in
the top ten points
scorers and is second
with his accuracy from
three point range.
Lamont McIntosh is up
for his first award
since arriving in
Britain, the 22 year old
point guard has
consistently been the
Rocks shining light and
was the main reason they
made the BBL Cup Final
after putting up 31
points against Chester
in the semi.
Frank
Bennett of Newcastle is
also a new comer to the
league after four years
at Georgia Southern in
the NCAA. His best
performances in November
include 34 points and 12
rebounds against the
Rocks and 24 points and
14 rebounds against the
Bears. Frank is also
sixth in the league's
leading rebounders.
Michael New is Leicester
Riders' leading scorer,
he has had an
outstanding month. New
is averaging 20.27 ppg,
good enough for eighth
in the league, and 10.91
rebounds per game which
equates to fifth in the
league. 27 points in the
Riders win over his
former club Thames
Valley represents the
highlight of his
November.
